In honor of Valentine's Day, please join Friends of Firefighters on Saturday, February 8th from 1-4 PM for the chance to meet, pet, and have your photo taken with NYC's FDNY firehouse dog of your choosing! It's not uncommon for firefighters to adopt dogs, and these lucky pups have become symbols of the resiliency and bravery of firefighters and the individuals they help.

This event is quite special because rarely do these firehouse dogs gather together in one place. On a holiday meant to celebrate love, FDNY Pup Love is one of the only events that can truly promise unconditional love (and kisses on a first date).

All photos will be taken by Emmy Park | @fdpup, an accomplished NYC-based fashion, portrait and pet photographer whose images have been featured throughout the past decade in numerous international publications and online marketing campaigns. She is the winner of the 2016 PDN’s Faces Contest: Professional Animal Portraits.

Sponsored by Woofs 'n Whiskers, Polkadog, and Wagwear with 100% of the proceeds going to Friends of Firefighters, a Red Hook-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides free, independent, and confidential mental health counseling and wellness services for active and retired FDNY firefighters and their families.

Food and refreshments will be served courtesy of Russo's Mozzarella and Pasta, Auntie Angie's Sweet Treats, and Mia's Bakery.

There will be raffle prizes for both humans and dogs, generously donated by: Polkadog, Wagwear, P.L.A.Y, KONG, Pisqueya, Benebone, and Bogue Milk Soap.

Please note, while we love all our furry friends, this event is highlighting the firehouse dogs and inviting humans only.

Thank you for supporting New York's Bravest and the loyal pups they love so much.
